Our history

This is how the RÖSLE Group came into being.

The company continued to grow

In order to meet the constantly increasing demand for space, additional production and storage halls were built outside the city for GRÖMO in 1993/94.
However, not only GRÖMO but also RÖSLE developed so well in their market that the owners - exclusively members of the Rösle family - decided to legally separate the two divisions in order to give them optimum scope for development.
In 2002, RÖSLE and GRÖMO were transformed from pure brand names into independent companies, GRÖMO GmbH & Co. KG and RÖSLE GmbH & Co. KG.
In order to drive forward the continuous expansion of the GRÖMO brand, FRANK Bauelemente was acquired in 2005. This enabled the company group to expand its expertise in the field of custom-made metal products and craftsmanship know-how as a successful addition to the fully automated systems in Marktoberdorf.

In joint hands since 2017

Henning Klempp has been Managing Director of GRÖMO since 2017. In 2018, he also took over the management of RÖSLE and in 2021 that of FRANK Bauelemente, which he shares with Fabian Krett.

In 2021, the RÖSLE GROUP was established as an overarching entity to continue to lead all three companies into the future together. In addition to the direct descendant of the family and owner, Dr. Hermann Steinhauser, Henning Klempp and Heinz-Uwe Vogel are the active managing directors of RÖSLE GROUP GmbH.

On the way to the future

The largest investment project in the company's history is growing at the RÖSLE headquarters.

The new building in Marktoberdorf in the idyllic Allgäu region is not only expanding logistics capacity, but also creating a contact point for customers and interested parties. At the heart of the logistics center is the fully automated small parts warehouse with additional pallet spaces, which is being built on an area of 3,000 square meters and offers sufficient space for the optimal storage and provision of products. The use of state-of-the-art technologies will ensure efficient and fast processing of the flow of goods, reducing delivery times and increasing customer satisfaction.

A multi-storey building that combines various functions is being built directly adjacent. On two floors, each with 400 square meters, the new RÖSLE store provides direct access to the variety of products and invites customers to try them out and experience them.

The range is complemented by the barbecue and cooking school, which is also housed in the new building complex. Here, customers have the opportunity to improve their barbecue skills or learn new cooking techniques under expert guidance. A wonderful journey into the world of RÖSLE!
