Spaghetti with meatballs on tomato sauce
Spaghetti mit Fleischbällchen und Tomatensauce ist ein richtiger Klassiker. Die würzigen Bällchen, knusprig gebraten, verfeinern die Spaghetti und baden in der fruchtigen Tomatensauce.

500 g Spaghetti
Some Parmesan
For the meatballs
1 Piece(s) Old slice of toast
4 Tablespoon(s) Cream
400 g Ground meat
1 Piece(s) Egg
Some chopped fresh parsley
Some Salt
Some Pepper from the mill
For the tomato sauce
2 Piece(s) Onion
2 Tablespoon(s) Tomato paste
400 g Tomatoes (chunky, canned)
Some Sugar
Some Basil
Some Oregano
Some Salt
Some Pepper from the mill
Preparation
1. Soak the toast in the cream. Then mix with the minced meat, egg and parsley and knead. Season with salt and pepper and form into small, roughly equal-sized balls.
2. For the tomato sauce, peel and chop the onion. Then sauté in a pan with a little olive oil. Add the tomato paste and fry. Then add the canned tomatoes and simmer for 20 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, sugar, basil and oregano
3. Now put a pot of water and a little salt on the boil and cook the spaghetti al dente according to the instructions on the packet.
4. Meanwhile, heat a pan with some butter and fry the meatballs in it.
5. To serve, arrange the pasta on plates and top with the tomato sauce and meatballs. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Garnish with some parsley if desired.
