The 50/50 grilling method is characterized by the fact that the grill is divided into two different zones. On one side is the glowing charcoal, on the other side is a drip tray filled with water. This ensures that the meat is supplied with liquid and can not dry out. This makes the grilled food particularly nice and juicy when cooking. In this way you achieve the double effect. On the one hand, pieces of meat can be intensively grilled directly with this and indirectly grilled or post-cooked on the other. This offers numerous advantages and is particularly beneficial for medium-sized pieces of meat.
In our dealer search, all RÖSLE dealers in the vicinity are displayed after entering the postal code or city.
No! RÖSLE only uses enameled cast iron grates and there, baking is not necessary. Only raw steel or cast iron grates that do not have a coating are burned in. However, the grill should be operated at full power for approx. 30 minutes before first use in order to burn off any residues from the manufacturing process. Please also observe the instructions in the operating manual.
To burn out the grill grate, brush it with a cleaning brush while it is hot after grilling to remove the coarse remains of the grilling process. Now let the grill cool down completely and then cover it with a hood. The next time you grill, bring the coals to a glow again and put the grill grate back on immediately after adding the embers. After about 10 minutes, the residue on the grill grate will burn off and can then simply be brushed off with the grill cleaning brush. Finally, rub the hot grill grate with a paper kitchen towel soaked in some sunflower oil and with the help of the grill tongs to remove the burnt remains. Now the grill grate is lightly oiled and ready for the next grilled food.
When paying by credit card or PayPal, your account will be charged immediately after sending the order.
1) Stainless steel grill grates can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
2) Chrome-plated grill grates and enameled cast iron grates are only burned off under high heat in the grill and then brushed off with a cleaning brush. Cleaning with mild rinse water is also possible but not necessary.
3) The charcoal grate of a charcoal grill does not need to be cleaned, as it is made of steel and will begin to rust and discolor in normal use as well. This is normal and represents normal wear and tear.
RÖSLE offers various materials for grill grates:
Stainless steel grates > with steel as well as brass brushes
Chrome-plated grill grates > with brass brushes
Enameled cast iron grates > with brass brushes

Allow the pizza stone to cool before cleaning. Remove encrustations and residues from the cold pizza stone with a scraper, a clean grill brush, or a dry cloth. After a few uses, the pizza stone will darken in places. This cannot be avoided and comes from burnt pizza sauce or other food. This is not a reason for complaint. The stone must never be cleaned in the dishwasher or completely immersed in water. The stone behaves like a sponge and soaks up everything liquid, then during baking it releases this flavor back into the pizza.
Storage: After cleaning, store the pizza stone in a dry and protected place. To avoid damage from impact, store the stone in its original packaging.
Direct grilling: The direct grilling method is used to prepare all dishes that are cooked / grilled briefly and at a high temperature (> 250°C). Direct means directly over the heat source e.g. barbecue coal or the gas burner. In this way, the classic grilled dishes such as neck steaks and sausages are prepared.
Indirect grilling: Indirect grilling means that the grilled food is cooked next to the heat source and with the lid closed, using circulating air. Here, the common temperature is about 180°C and is used for dishes that have a longer cooking time than 20 minutes. This is used, for example, to prepare roast chicken, roasts, whole fish and dishes on a rotisserie.
